Amusement Parks Info

More information about Amusement Park Trips

Travelin’ Teens brings the fun to a whole new level with full-day trips to some of the region’s biggest and best amusement parks. These include: Hershey Park, Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens, Dutch Wonderland, Adventure Park USA and more! Teens get to explore the park, ride their favorite attractions, and enjoy a full day of adventure with friends—all while staying safely supervised.

In the parks, campers travel in groups with a staff member at all times. While campers are free to choose any group they’d like, our groups are organized by thrill level to help everyone have the best possible experience. We typically offer High Thrills, Low Thrills, and No Thrills groups, so every teen can enjoy the day at their own comfort level.

Our staff are there to help guide the group through the day, coordinating lunch, and making sure everyone in the group gets to go to their favorite rides!

Ocean City FAQs

What is the Ocean City trip?
Our Ocean City trip is a full-day beach and boardwalk adventure where teens get to enjoy the ocean, swim, play games, explore the boardwalk, and spend time with friends in a fun summer atmosphere.

What time does the trip leave and return?
We leave early in the morning and return in the evening. Exact times will be provided in the welcome packet, and weekly email so you can plan ahead.

How does lunch work?
We will be providing lunch for this day! Campers are welcome to bring their own lunch or bring money to buy food along the boardwalk if they like as well. There are plenty of kid-friendly options available. For the bus ride, we will have some snacks available (ex., apples, NutriGrain bars). Campers are welcome to bring additional snacks for the bus ride.

Can my camper bring spending money?
Yes! Campers usually bring a small amount of spending money for snacks, souvenirs, or arcade games.

What should they bring?
We recommend:
– Swimsuit
– Towel
– Sunscreen
– Water bottle
– Packed lunch or money for food
– A labeled bag to carry their gear

Are campers allowed in the water?
Yes—there is time scheduled for ocean swimming and beach play. Campers must follow all posted beach rules and lifeguard instructions.

Do campers stay together?
Teens travel with their chosen groups during beach time, boardwalk time, and bus travel. The day is structured so they enjoy freedom to choose their activities with the group, all while being supervised by a staff member. Campers are never allowed to travel unsupervised.

Is the boardwalk supervised?
Yes. Campers explore with their group and check in regularly with the rest of the camp. The boardwalk is busy, so we keep structured meeting points throughout the day and campers must be with a staff member at all times.

What if the weather is bad?
If weather conditions make the beach unsafe, we adjust the schedule or choose alternate activities. Families will be notified if any major changes are needed.

What about cellphones?
For this trip, we do allow cellphones for the bus ride. They’re then collected before we hit the boardwalk/beach! What if my camper doesn’t like the beach?
There’s still plenty to do! The boardwalk includes arcades, shops, treats, and places to relax with friends.
