MCPS has updated its school schedule… again! And we have adjusted our camp schedule to align with their 1st day of school for the 2026-2027 school year, as well as the NEW last day of school. There will now be 8 weeks of camp, starting June 22nd and ending August 14th with our last week of camp (Aug 10 – 14th) having adjusted hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (unless otherwise noted in the calendar)

Overview

Join us for an unforgettable summer at Adventure Camp! Our exciting ACA-accredited camp program is designed for kids to explore the outdoors, make new friends, and experience thrilling activities like paintball, whitewater rafting, and more. Whether your child is a seasoned adventurer or a first-timer, we offer a safe and fun environment that fosters personal growth, teamwork, and outdoor skills.

What to Bring
Here is what to bring each day, check the What to Bring List for any additional

  • Sunscreen (LABELED)
  • Lunch EVERYDAY
  • Bathing Suit
  • Towel
  • Closed-Toed Shoes
  • There are certain trips that need additional spending money for lunch. These are listed in the Welcome Packet
  • Flip-flops (optional)



Forms & Documents:

– For children receiving medication during the camp day, please complete the Medication Administration Form (this is completed by a doctor) 

– In the parent portal, please complete the Student Emergency Contact Form and the Summer Camp Health form in your account. You do not need to upload the School Year health form

Explore the experience awaiting the kids

Paintball

Adventure Camp heads to Hogback Mountain Paintball for a fun, action-packed day of teamwork, strategy, and safe paintball battles, all gear and supervision included!

Caving

We'll head to Dam #4 Cave (also known as “Bear Cave”) where campers strap on helmets and step straight back into a winding rock passage. This walkable, cool, and safe cave offers the perfect mix of exploration and discovery!

White Water
Rafting

Rafting sounds intense, but it’s super manageable with River Riders guiding us on the Harpers Ferry River. Perfect for kids 6-8+ it’s a fun and safe intro to rafting!

Ocean City

For our Ocean City trip, we take comfy charter buses that kids love! After the fun ride, they enjoy swimming and exploring the boardwalk, all with close staff supervision.
